Respect in Sport
What is Respect in Sport Parent Program?
Respect in Sport is an effective and informative online training program for parents of active children. The one hour online certification program reinforces the role of a parent in activities of young athletes. Respect in Sport encourages positive sporting behaviours while providing insight into the various roles other individuals play. This program is about empowering parents to ensure the safety of their children, encourage positive and effective communication, and to enhance a child's fun and camaraderie of the activity.
ALL first year new players regardless of level MUST have at least one (1) parent complete the online tutorial. Should any player's parent not have this done by October 31, 2019, that player will be prohibited from stepping on the ice after this date until completed.
